Like I said, thats not an amount big enough to even fool with the hassle of insurance claim.

 

I got mine replaced for "free" a few months ago. Took me 10 minutes to set it all up start to finish so easily worth not paying $500. Also it doesn't cost $500 its more like $250-300.

 

Mine, too, have taken just 10 minutes on the phone, to save $275. That works out to $1,650 an hour! Heck, I wish I worked at a job where I got paid more than that, so that writing a check was simpler than talking to someone on the phone for a few minutes.

Agreed. $275 is a huge amount of money to me.

 

Regardless of how much money one makes, a 10-15 minute phone call to save $300 is just the financially responsible thing to do.

I think that I called SafeLight and they even took care of the insurance claim for me. No increase in my premium, either. That was three years ago, I believe.

I just did this like 3 weeks ago, so simple and they even came to my work and replaced it in the parking lot during the day.

Well, Bob from Jack's Glass was here exactly on time, and within 90 minutes had everything replaced and cleaned. (He probably could've done it faster, if I hadn't been talking to him. :lol2: ) Was professional, courteous and very thorough. Can't speak as to the rest of their installers, but wouldn't hesitate for an instant having this guy work on any of my vehicles.
