July 26, 20188 yr TCU and Oklahoma lost quite a bit from last season, I just don’t see any B12 team being in the CFP. And yes I said I think Texas will be good this year and one of the best teams in the B12 and I said they’ll be a really good team next year. They won’t be a CFP contender this year By default someone from the Big 12 is going to be a contender for a playoff spot.
July 26, 20188 yr And what TCU game are you attending? I haven’t even looked at their schedule. TCU/ Ohio State in Jerry World.
July 26, 20188 yr Author That’s awesome Grant! I actually live in Austin right now so I’ve been looking into going to a few UT games. And yes whoever is the best in the B12 will be a contender but I doubt they get in this year. I just think there are 3 or so teams in the SEC and 3 or so in the B10 that are better than anybody in the B12
August 2, 20188 yr FSU is always a fraud until proven otherwise, especially with a new coach at the helm. Clemson will win the ACC without much trouble, IMO. Always a fraud? :lol2: :lol2:
August 2, 20188 yr They struggled last year. The two years prior, they were 20-6. Aside from not knowing what to do with Lamar Jackson as he destroyed them, FSU lost two games by a combined 5 points in 2016. One of those was on a last second field goal, set up by a frankly questionable PI penalty. The other was by three to Clemson, who came from behind with just over two minutes remaining in the game. That'd be national champion Clemson. 2015 wasn't quite as strong, but still, just three losses. One of those was to Clemson (everyone is having trouble beating them). I know it's en vogue to again act like FSU is unjustifiably accorded respect, but this was a very good team in 2016 that got blitzed in one game and made it stand up pretty much the rest of the season, and there were legitimate reasons why they were respected going into last year. Unfortunately, they simply could not overcome losing Francois in that first game, and I think the entire team got messed up inside afterward. As for this season, FSU does not belong in the discussion for playoffs, IMO. I expect them to be the 2nd or 3rd best in the ACC though. I am excited to see what Willie brings to the table in the next several years, though. If he continues to show the prowess in recruiting, then FSU will be just fine. All of this right here!!!! DF nailed it.
August 2, 20188 yr I don’t think FSU is ready yet. I’m expecting Clemson to be the class of the ACC with Miami right behind them. Bama and Georgia will be studs again. I could see them in the playoffs again. Last spot is up for grabs. That could be anyone’s spot.
August 3, 20188 yr CFP: 1. Bama 2. Clemson 3. USC 4. Wisconsin (They will get their doors blown off in playoff and endup ranked 10 or 12, TCU should really be here) 5. Georgia ( I think only one SEC school makes it due to Bama going unbeaten and winning the SEC champ if UGA upsets Bama in that champ, they flip flop) 6. TCU 7. Washington 8. Penn State 9. FSU 10.Nebraska I was going to put Miami on this list but I think they really weren't top 10 last year and I think they will do about the same this year.

August 3, 20188 yr How can anyone not have OSU in their top ten? I don't care what's going on with the coaching, they should be there.
August 3, 20188 yr How can anyone not have OSU in their top ten? I don't care what's going on with the coaching, they should be there. Basketball is our bread and butter.
August 3, 20188 yr How can anyone not have OSU in their top ten? I don't care what's going on with the coaching, they should be there. Why exactly, if they win, they will take it away.
August 3, 20188 yr Why exactly, if they win, they will take it away. Will you repeat the question? It doesn’t match his quote.
August 4, 20188 yr How can anyone not have OSU in their top ten? I don't care what's going on with the coaching, they should be there. To be honest the coaching drama has nothing to do with it. They struggle to win through the Big10. IMO they will lose 3 (TCU, Perdue, Michigan) games this year (with Urban & without the drama). They haven't been the same since Clemson embarrassed and emasculated them in the playoff. Big 10 has been pretty weak the past 2 years, and I dont see them being a top 4 team in the Big10. Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State and Iowa will have better seasons. You may believe different, that's ok, but OSU is always all world this time of year and are a disappointment and an afterthought in January. All this drama is just another garbage bag on the dumpster fire. Edited August 4, 20188 yr by El Diablo
