St. Xavier 13 Pleasure Ridge Park 7 (KHSAA State Tournament)

Featured Replies

St. X scores six runs in the top of the 7th to break a 7-7 tie in a great, back and forth game where the Tigers trailed 5-1 in the 2nd.

One great team Saint Xavier, and one good team PRP. I said before the season ended, Saint Xavier would win the state baseball championship hands down. This team is very special.

Anybody know the pitch count on the St X giys that pitched? Wonder who they will have available to pitch Saturday out of the guys that put hed today.

They still have Ryan Nicholson, who is Cinncinnati committ, and has a 2.80 era. Don’t know pitch counts but 2 faced 10 batters and one 14 batters.

What can you say awesome win Tigers!

Disappointing this game was in the first round. Congrats to St X

Way to go Tigers!

What is the rule on pitch count?

1-25 no rest

26-50 1 day rest

51-75 2 day rest

Over 75 3 day rest

120 is max for game.

Thanks. Just out of curiosity, who is responsible for counting? The team or the official scorer? I suspect that there is a lot of changing at the 50 and 75 count.

I trust the coach is very aware of pitch counts!
