I’m a 76ers guy. I agree with you, although my boys are set for the future and the Celtics/Sixers rivalry has been restored.

That being said, Philly needs to hit big with a free agent this summer.

 

Philly is in need of some coaching. Maybe Brown will improve, but there was no excuse for the 76ers to go down in flames the way they did. Three of those games were simply won because Brad Stevens was coaching the other team.

LeBron definitely needs more help. Not sure how that isn’t plain to see.

 

That being said, I still won’t be shocked if LeBron wins this series.

Exactly. On paper they should handle the Cavs fairly easily.

To piggy back off of the coaches thread...Ty Lue looks lost, confused and constipated most of the time. I'm not sure he brings much to the Cavs.

I think so. I actually think the opposite. I don’t think he is at the level of Kerr or Stevens but I do think that because he is LeBron’s coach that he’ll never get any credit for anything. I don’t think he sucks as a coach and having to coach a personality as large as LeBron’s is a challenge that isn’t for the weak minded. I remember saying the same kind of things about Erik Spoelstra and he has proven to be a pretty good coach without LeBron.

 

At the very least he has to sign off on whatever LeBron chooses to do and I think LeBron had one of his best seasons ever this year. Ty Lue deserves some credit for that. Not sure how much but some credit for sure.

Undermanned they aren't. I think it's more they're void of a star. Of course, that's because they both got hurt, but if Stevens gets the Celtics as currently constructed to the Finals, he's even more of a genius than I already thought.

The worst the other day was the Celtics were on the sideline and threw (basically handed) the ball into Marcus Smart in the corner. LeBron was to be covering him, but he loafed his way out just above a walking pace and had a trey drained in front of him.

 

That said, I look for him to rebound tonight as he often does.
