Beechwood 9 Newport Central Catholic 0 (9th Region All A Final)

Featured Replies

Logan Castleman 2-4 w/2rbi

Dylan Doverspike 2-4 2B w/1rbi

Marcus Berger 2-3 w/ 2rbi

Preston Hamilton 2-3 w/3b

WP: Evan Schlinger 2-0

The Tiger bats were alive. Nice defense, as well.

Schlinger went 6 IP, 0 R, 6 H, 2 BB, 4 SO

Trusty closed the 7th w/ 2 K's

G. Smith took the loss for NCC in 3.1 but lead their bats, going 2 for 3, I believe.

NCC had chances early and couldn't get the big hit. Seemed like they were feeling some pressure as their defense fell apart late and really put it out of reach.

Beechwood hit the ball well. Evan Schlinger pitched a great game.

I was told the Tiger players were focused and ready for this tournament from day 1. It showed as they outscored their 3 opponents 37-0.

Congrats to the Tigers and Coach Gray! Rooting for them to bring home the title.

Congrats Tigers, TAKE STATE

Anyone know when the All A State starts?

Sweet on all fronts for coach Gray. They pick up the win and he gets a little vendetta for how NCC treated his dad
