April 5, 20188 yr Author Par 3 contest was great...Jack said yesterday's hole-in-one by his grandson may now be his favorite golf memory. The was so cool to see. I was watching it “live” and I got a little dust in my eye somehow. Golf is so different from other sports that we have a chance to see the legends of the game for so long.
April 5, 20188 yr Justin Thomas wins it IMO. Tiger finishes top 5. If Tiger's in contention on Sunday, I'm going to be totally geeked. Would love to have any of the following battling it out... Tiger Spieth Phil Jason Day DJ Ricky Fowler Matt Kuchar I don't know why, I enjoy the tournament more when it's a "big name" that wins it. When it's a Mike Weir, Charl Schwartzel or Danny Willett type of year, it's just sort of blah.
April 5, 20188 yr Love the 1:27 threesome of Fowler/Kuchar/Mickelson. Will be interesting to see if those guys can push each other early.
April 5, 20188 yr The par 3 contest was incredible, I'll have to play catch up after work the next 2 afternoons. It would be great to see the big names on top of the leaderboard heading into Sunday with a couple dark horses mixed in the fray.
