Simon Kenton at Scott Predictions

Featured Replies

Coach M is big on showing class, and I respect him for that, but a friend of mine said the exact opposite of that. Coach M. told him that he was very upset that Scott wouldn't play them next year, and wanted to give them a reason to drop them off the schedule i.e. give them a butt whoppin.

It wont' be as bad as you think.

If that is true then I don't know who has the worst coach between the 2 schools. It is obvious that SK has the talent but the coaching really has held them back and if he said this then I feel that it is ridiculous. You play with class but if you can beat a team by a big margin, you do it.

There ya go buddy.

Easy with the conspiracy theories guys, I'm sure the school administration has something to do with the decision not to blow eachother out when the game looks like it will be one. Not everything that happens is totally decided by the coaches.

I agree that you don't want to win 60-0 and that you should always show class. But you don't tell your team to keep it close is all I was saying, and since there has been players confirm he said that, I don't really know what you are arguing about. I don't know if the comments between me and the Stallion upset you because we were jokin with eachother, but whatever it is you need to settle down.

I think this could be a little bit of a communication issue where people are also looking for some good "locker room material". I'd venture to say there are some people on here that know Scott players see this thread and when they do, will get fired up at the "alleged claims of what's being said or they think is being said by people from SK country.

I seriously doubt coach M said "It's gonna be easy to win, so let's play with class and not run up the score". HOWEVER, I wouldn't be surprised, if he said "This is a rivalry game don't let your emotions get the best of you and keep it clean, we're not looking to blow a team out to prove a point while doing it with no class"

I could see where some could be confused by this and think that coach M is saying "let's go easy on them."

This is all speculation by everyone(including myself), along with some half truths, or misinterpreted comments.

Reading much of this thread I've laughed alot, bc it reminds me of the ole HS rumor mill, which at times these forums often are. Coaches, just like everyone else, know that people talk.

Of course both coaches and teams want to win, but they also want a good game, and not to close this long history of SK vs Scott with a bad ending. Hopefully that's how things will play out, that's what I'd want to see out there tomorrow night.:thumb:

Simon Kenton wins by at least 20! Good luck Coach Marksberry!

Boom!!

Oh well thanks for shedding some light on the issue for me. I really didn't know any of what you just told me, despite having been to most of the games which SK and Scott faced off in the past 8-10 years in b-ball and football. Really insightful stuff.

Why pay to go to the games if your not watching?

The SK team last year was flat out better than Scott and outplayed them, with good coaching on the SK side it would have been a larger margin of victory, however this isn't about last year. SK's offense is far too powerful for Scott. Scott as a whole is not as good as they were last year, nor are they anywhere near as good as SK is this year. The only way Scott has a chance at even keeping this one close is if the SK coaching screws it up so bad that the superior talent level of SK's offense can't recover.

But then again you could've said that Holmes was no where near as good as SK and the Pioneers BARELY beat them.

This as well as 90% of your other threads just show that you clearly have a personal issue with Simon Kenton coaching. You have mentioned in well over 10 posts that I personally have viewed that upset me because you mention something about how bad the coaching is at Simon Kenton. I personally think the coaching is perfectly fine, as well as the majority of others. I don't know if you're just a disgruntled ex-player, parent, or someone that has a personal grudge against Coach M, but it's getting absurd. Leave the personal problems off of here and stop trying to gather supporters to oust the coaching staff from Simon Kenton.

Yeah the point is that they beat them. Who has Scott beat this year???

Carroll County :dancingpa :dancingpa    at least we aint 0-9 right now. Have to look at the positives rather then the negatives.
