April 4, 20188 yr Gates not open yet at GABP. Why the delay? Gates usually don't open until an hour before the game. Typically for a 6:40 game, I believe they won't open til 5:40.

You can't always predict what the weather is ultimately going to do, but I also do wonder how it all works with a rainout. You paid the ushers, other workers, etc. to be there, so are they stringing things along to sell enough in concessions to break even before postponing, or does that absolutely not factor into anything?

This wasnt a typical rain out, it was clear this game wasnt going to be played yesterday. This game could have been called around 2pm today.
