Credit to Scherr and Schwartz for battling back for the victory while carrying 4 fouls, and to their team mates for stepping up where they needed to . It wouldn’t have been a win without some clutch contributions from the rest . Fairly even scoring after Scherr.

Ally had 11 at the break but not sure of total for the game. Great story of working hard to return from injury to help her team. Hats off to Ally!

Ryle wins by 5. 2 high level talents on Ryle take over especially Scherr who was very solid especially down the stretch. Simons top level player ,Niece, coming off her knee injury not quite at 100% , did all she could but just doesn't have her normal explosiveness yet down low and didn't finish some shots she normally does. My prediction was pretty much on the money in prediction thread. Very entertaining game of back and forth action. Niece will get back to 100% by next year and I hope she has a great career at NKU. Look forward to watching her over next 4 years. Going into tomorrow Ryle has to have Schwartz and Scherr stay out of foul trouble . They become very beatable when those 2 are off the court or playing cautiously not to foul. Like to see them carry the nky flag and beat Mercy and make final 4.

Great, she is really a good player. When Simon played Mason earlier in the year, you could tell she was struggling some on the knee ans still scored 15. Good luck at NKU. I know she will do great things.

When Mason played Ryle in December, Mason won due to Scherr and Schwartz both being in foul trouble much of the game and finally fouling out.

It’s cliche, but free throws win ball games! Clutch free throw shooting by Ryle. 2 point game and Ryle goes 6-6 from the line in the final minute. Too bad both NKy teams had to meet in the first round. Good luck Lady Raiders!

Yeah thought that last year when Butler played Sacred Heart in first round. Would have liked to see them opposite to see what could happen. Sounds like both teams played well tonight, though, so must have been a classic!

Tough loss for my Pioneers. Great Senior class.
