LCA outscored Madison Central 53-35 from the 6:36 mark of the 2nd quarter on. I really think Central stayed in the zone way to long and LCA got comfortable and shot it really well the 2nd half.

What was the call?

Ezekiel Grier was the key in this one with a huge second half. Had a few big 3s during LCA’s comeback, and also a set up Hendrickson for 3. I think he ended with 14 points.

 

Of course Rode was huge for LCA as well. He just does so many good things for the Eagles.

I think a better description would be that LCA had a great second half game plan that they executed near flawlessly. I don't think there was any officiating that had anything to do with it.

The call was on the first play of the 2nd half. You're saying that one missed call threw MC out of whack? Wow.

I think a better description would be that LCA had a great second half game plan that they executed near flawlessly. I don't think there was any officiating that had anything to do with it.

 

Or that a kid averaging slightly above 2ppg got hot from 3! But that's what it takes to win the 11th. Got to have an unexpected hero on some nights! Not sure how much changed from first to 2nd half for the Eagles. I noticed they did play man a little more down the stretch. IMO, the LCA kids fed off a couple made threes and then they all started rolling in. Shooting is contagious! Mix that with a few of the toughness plays from the 2nd half defensively and you've got yourself a strong showing!
