Which region favorite got the worst draw? Potential to be knocked out early?

Featured Replies

Madison Central was the first team that I thought of. They should beat Bryan Station but that is a stout first round opponent.

Bryan Station has beaten them twice already this season. Madison Central definitely has their work cut out for them to win the region.

I'm going with Pendleton Co. vs Paris, 10th Region. That is a tough draw.

Neither would be considered regional favorites.

Neither would be considered regional favorites.

Maybe not to you. Depends on who you're talking to? GRC, CC, Pendleton, Paris, Scott. Any of those can win it.

Think you could add Oldham vs Collins too. Tough draw in the 8th.

I would say Ashland has been a favorite all season in the 16th region and after losing to Boyd(the co-favorite) they drew Morgan County.

Morgan County is 25-5 and loves to play up and down.

Will be a wild one for sure.

To me, this is all relative. For instance, I believe that Bowling Green has established as the favorite in the 4th Region after winning the 14th District. I believe they got possibly the toughest draw they could get, as they'll likely have to go through the teams I had rated #3, #4, and #1 before the district tournaments. But, I really don't expect that they'd lose before the finals. Or more appropriately, it would come as a surprise to me.
