a_boy_named_sue
I agree. I would add that there are many opinions in NKY, and not all of them consider the likes of Rockcastle and company to be Podunk. Traditionally, these NKY have been superior to the Rock and the 3A teams in Eastern Kentucky. However, as stated before, Rockcastle County is 1-1 against HHS and 1-0 against CCHS. These games have actually taken place pretty recently, the last being a 46-7 Rockcastle County thrashing in 2002 of Highlands in the state semis. Even if the NKY teams are superior athletically, these games with the Northern Kentucky teams aren't too farm removed from the minds of those in the Rockcastle County program. This generation of Rockets just aren't intimidated by the NKY teams and I don't think they will be until they have a personal experience that influences them otherwise. I remember this game quite well, acutally.
