Ugly game. Right in UC's power alley, though.

UC shot 36.5% field, 25.0% from 3, and 60.0% from the line.

UCF finished shooting 30.6%, 29.4%, and 30.0%.

Gary Clark lead all scorers with 17. Fall, Griffin, and Allen had 7 a piece for the Knights.

Clark also led the game with 14 rebounds. Tako Fall had 8 for UCF.

I thought sure Pitino would teach them how to score the other night. Guess not.

19-15 at the half...that had to be hard to watch

Not near as tough as watching that free throw shooting contest in the second game I watched. Besides, I'm used to watching USF play. Players missing layups and wide open 5' jumpers is normal for me. :)

Two of the top 4 defensive teams in the country...nobody was expecting a score in the 60's.

UC was able to dictate the tempo in the second half which led to a more "normal" score of 34-19 Bearcats.

It can't be fun going up against 7'6" Taco Fall. He sits in the middle of the zone and makes it almost impossible to get to the rim. He is a big boy!

Fall caused a lot of shot modification, but he had only 1 block. He also had a goal tending call. He may be tall, but he is incredibly slow and tires easily. He couldn't hit a free throw, if his life depended on it. I'll be interested in how he does in the NBA.

UCF only had that one block. UC had 6, 3 by Jacob Evans.
