January 10, 20188 yr It really wasn't pretty, as these greens were nasty. But, shot an 84 today at Palmetto-Pines in a perfect 81 degrees on a sunny day in Cape Coral. New clubs plus old swing doesn't change a lot. Really just bragging about great weather down here with no excuses about my golf game. I refuse to surrender and move forward to those senior tees.

January 14, 20188 yr I have always savored my time in Florida during the winter. Before I started broadcasting our basketball games I'd often go for a month/months at a time. While I only get there for short stays now, nobody can take away the knowledge of what it is like to be at Gulfstream Park, going to the Jai-Alai games, the dog races, dining at Matteo's Restaurant on Hallandale Beach Blvd, staying at the Ocean Roc or walking out on a fishing pier taking it all in. I am going to try to get down there for a week in early-mid February if possible. Since I'm in the process of outliving my assets, I'm not sure how many more opportunities will arise.
