Corbin 64 Clay County 61

Featured Replies

Final from Clay County.

That is a really solid road win for Corbin.

Yes it is. Would love to see the stats on this one.

Any info on this one? I amazed this was that close.

The game was close throughout and Corbin was fortunate to get the win. Clay Co. is very young, but they may be the team to beat in the 13th Region in a couple of years.

Corbin looks good when their jumpshots are falling and not so good when they are not. They may tend to settle for a few too many(shot 28 threes against Knox Central and hit only 7), but they do not really have any physical presence on the inside.

Thanks for the info. I’ve seen Clay County and I haven’t seen Corbin yet but Corbin’s resume suggests this game shouldn’t have been this close. If the jumpers aren’t falling though that explains a lot.

Keep in mind the game was at Clay County, one of the hardest places in Kentucky to play, no matter how good their team is.

BR suited up for the first time but didn't play.

It's going to be interesting to see how that situation works out. He could be the missing piece, then again, maybe not.

You're right, if he turns out to be that big presence we need, the Hounds will be a tough out for anyone.
