Who is on the receiving core of both teams???

 

I will admit I really dont know much about the receiving core for Dayton, so I really cant say for sure whos is better. I know Ludlows receiving core has taken alot of hits this year, with Chris Poe who was one of the better athletes in the area got kicked off the team after the first game of the season, and then two weeks ago Elijah Mays who had become the #2 receiver got a concussion, and Im not sure if he is playing again or not. So the Ludlow receiving core is definitely not as good as when it started the year, but they still got Kyle York, and Buddy Lunsford Joe Gier who are both two good young receivers themselves. I think I can say pretty confidently that Ludlow probably has the best receiver out of both teams in Kyle York though.

 

This game really though is pretty much very even, and you cant really find to much of an advantage in any area for either team. This will be a great game, and I cant wait to see it.

I've seen Dayton and Ludlow play this year, Dayton has the better team by far. Pnthr4life mentioned that Ludlow has 5 WR they can go to........I didn't see it when they played HC. I hate to knock the mighty Panthers......but Dayton played HC better.

Since you saw the Ludlow/HC game, you had to see that the QB didn't have alot of time to throw the ball. I just don't see Dayton's front being as strong as HC's. A HC friend told me that HC didn't play a very good game against Dayton. I hope he wasn't just trying to make me feel good!!!! I still like our chances in this game, with it being at home, and the playoff spot on the line. Either way it will be an exciting game.

In this district Beechwood and Holy Cross are currently undefeated. They play next week for the district (regular season) title. NCC has locked up the 3 seed. Ludlow and Dayton play this Friday. Should Ludlow win that game, they will lock up the 4 seed since they already beat Bellevue earlier in the season. Should Dayton win and then beat Bellevue next week they lock up the 4 seed. Should Dayton beat Ludlow and then lose to Bellevue, if I'm not mistaken they would still get the 4 seed, based on their non-district wins. If anyone knows the definitive answer to last scenario, feel free to enlighten me.

Thank you Sportsfan34 & 3pointshooter. I hope we win as well. As for the playoffs and who we will play, I really don't care. Both teams are quality opponents and we will be huge underdogs. We're still gonna line up and go at it and see what happens. Good luck to all.

I know that both teams are beat up some. I know Ludlow has some major injuries and issues at the LB position. Which should allow Dayton's QB to run, then throw if needed. But I know Ludlow needs a victory to help their playoff hopes. This should be a good game all around, but I just think Dayton's offensive attack will be too much for Ludlow to handle

The 1st and 2nd seeds are locked. Now if Bellevue beats NCC tonight...Dayton Beats Ludlow, and Bellevue beats Dayton next week, then Bellevue will get the 3rd seed and NCC will get the fourth seed. So, really the only two teams in for absolute certainty are Beechwood and Holy Cross. We will all have to see what happens tonight, and the rest should start to clear up.

Your play-off thoughts are correct. Whoever wins this game gets the 4 seed. W/Dayton beating 3 out of district teams would give them enough pts to win the tiebreaker if they would win tonight and lose next week.
