How so? They lose a ton on the offensive line, and the kid that returns all the kicks and punts. And the kid that runs for most of the yards, and catches all the passes.

They have a ton of juniors on this team also...:D We'll just see next year when they put the beat down on the red colonels AGAIN...  The qb will be back, Josh Conner will be back, the TE,LB'S,S, etc....They do lose alot on the line though I'll give you that. I believe they are plenty capable of finding some kids from the JV and Freshman to replace them.

Sandman is not a Dixie fan. You are thinking of Sandman 32. We'll worry about next year's team, next year. On to State. Go Birds.

Sorry............:D

Two predictions:

1 - HHS wins by a lot...

2 - Seth Gordon gets a bunch of yards.

Though Seth sounds pretty good, the birds' weekness is more of their passing defense than their running defense (of course Anderson and Beaumont are exceptions). I don't know if I agree with you that seth will rush for more than 50 or 60 yards unless he gets more than 30 or so touches.

With all due respect, the male scrimmage was very sloppy at the begining because it was the first time they had seen a back of that Calibur. Once halftime came and Coach Weinrich was able to calm us down, we did considerably better against him. Vic Anderson did much better in the second half but the HHS defense was able to contain him well in the first.

How do you know I'm not a Dixie fan?

How do you know I'm not a Dixie fan?

Because Tom Spritzky told me so:D

Seriously, I thought I've read posts in the past that you are not a Dixie fan (and by that I don't mean that you dislike Dixie, rather that the main school that you follow is a team other than Dixie). If I'm mistaken, I apologize.

I understand that, but I was simply saying that Anderson and Beaumont were able to rush on us and it seemed like most others weren't able to as well. But our defense has been more susceptible to the long ball.

Pretty good answer. :D
