Today in the Tennessee 2A title game, Union City had a 25-play, 93-yard drive that took 13:09...and didn't score. They started on their own five with 8:39 left in the third and turned it over on downs on the Tyner 2 yard line with 7:30 in the fourth. Union City went on to win 27-21 in double overtime. Never threw a pass.

That's crazy.

Union City's coach said after the game that he had lost track of which down it was on the 25th play and had intended to kick the field goal but thought it was 3rd down. UC led at that point 14-6 and Tyner came back to tie the game with 14 seconds left.
