There's the problem in a nutshell. I've never had cornbread stuffing that was any good.

You put dressing on a salad, you put stuffing in a turkey.

Totally agree.... I always pity the family when I see those red boxes in their grocery cart the day before Thanksgiving. Yuk!

I was joking. I'll try and post my families dressing recipe on here later. Definitely not the same ingredients and Stove Top.

I would love to have another good recipe to try. My grandmother's was soooo good, but the aunt who got her recipes when my grandmother passed isn't willing to share them. Isn't that sad? I soooo would love just one more spoonful of her stuffing.

Unless you physically stuff it into your Turkey when you cook it, it's dressing.
