Any fellow sneakerheads on BGP?

Anyone able to secure a pair of the Off-Whites? I went 0/7.

No sneakerheads I guess. That's a shame.

You’ve got one here.

Not a “sneakerHead” really, just a guy who likes shoes.

I own over 30 pairs of shoes. Mostly Jordans, Airmax and AF 1’s. I never really try to get the new release shoes though...I usually get them off eBay later.

I do pride myself in my collection of Jordan’s though. I currently have the 1’s, 4’s, 9’s, 12’s and 13’s.

I'm not a huge Jordan guy. I only really like the 11's, 12's, and 13's. I really like Ultra Boosts and NMDs buts now that you can get them at any mall it has taken the allure away from them. I haven't always been in on the new release trend, but I have been putting my name into the drawings recently and even if don't like the shoe, I can flip them very easily if I happen to win. I don't know if you're familiar, but the new Off Whites are the new trend and I had my name in for every pair and didn't win. Nike apparently had a problem with the SNKRS app. I'm contemplating buying a pair of the Off White AM 97's from the secondary market, but damn they are just so expensive. I can't fork over $500 for some shoes. Haha

Lol I get it.

I've never spent $500 on a shoe. Close ( a pair of Gucci sneakers), but never that much.

I have two pairs of the air max 97's. All black and the silver pair. Had them in the 7th grade and got them again when they re-released them.

Yes. My last three purchases that would qualify me with admission:

* Boost 350 Yeezy's in Moonrock.

* Adidas Pharrell's "Human Race"

* NIKE Doernbecher's designed by a 12 year old in the Children's Hospital in Oregon.

I buy mine from either flightclub, or, mostly, I order them from a store in Miami called "Sneak Attack". I highly recommend them.

In my early 20's, right after college, I worked for a large sporting goods company. Nike (and Reebok) used to have sales rep pricing they'd offer once a quarter where you could get shoes at 40% off wholesale. This was in the early early-mid 90's and I could get Jordan's for about $55. I had a large collection of shoes....Jordan's, the early Hurache's, the first bunch of ACG shoes etc. The sad part is I used the Jordans to play in a basketball league and regularly wore and destroyed many of the pairs of shoes I had bought. And then, when I moved out here, because of lack of room, I ended up giving away many pairs of the unworn shoes I had accumulated. I wish I had held on to/taken better care of those shoes.

Nowadays, while I still like sneakers and still don't buy cheap ones, I only buy them for functional purposes, and don't come anywhere close to collecting them.

Anyone pick up the BigBaller shoes?

Anyone pick up the BigBaller shoes?

I heard the Liangelo's are free with the purchase of some Louis Vutton sunglasses.

I don’t identify as a sneakerhead anymore, but I can remember scrolling through KicksOnFire and flightclub figuring out how much I needed to make in tips that week to fit a new release into the budget on Saturday.

That ended when being fifth in line for the Bred 1s wasn’t good enough to get my size. Now I wait until a pair is ready for retirement before I start researching the next pair.

Also, I despise the secondary market.

Just copped probably my favorite pair of all time this weekend. XI Low Georgetown’s. Ive been contemplating pulling the trigger on these for a couple of years now but have never found a good price. Saw a good price on flightclub and said screw it and purchased them.

Also did anyone enter the drawing and win a pair of the free throw line AJ3’s? I have the worst luck in those drawings.

My youngest son is a shoe horse. He has in excess of 120 pairs of sneakers. Jordon's, Labron's you name it. Especially if they are limited edition.
