November 17, 20178 yr Haha I think it could end up being the Bengals or Chargers. I would take the chargers I think with them being tenants in the new LA "Super" Stadium, they aren't going anywhere...looks like the Bengals for St. Louis. :lol2:
November 17, 20178 yr If you rank areas by metropolitan market size, Cincinnati is #28. Guess who #29 is .... Las Vegas, who just landed a new team. Oakland is #23.
November 18, 20178 yr They left town to me when they brought back Marvin this year, maybe even as far back as when they let Zimmer walk, keeping "I'll never win a playoff game" Marvin Lewis a few years ago. Loved going to the games for many years in the Kenny Anderson, Boomer days and then came the "Lost Decades". Tried to recreate the old magic again last year; and realized they just don't put an entertaining product on the field & the stadium atmosphere is like a morgue. Just felt like I was helping line Mikey's pockets, and encouraging his miserly ways; so I'm done with them again. Best of luck to those of you who stick it out with the Bengals and their continued undisciplined & unprepared ways! Hope they can get back to mediocrity for you again, but don't expect more from a Mike Brown owned team. :sour: :banghead::banghead:
November 18, 20178 yr I think some greatly over exaggerate the economic impact of 10 games year. Yes and no. Dont forget about all the people that go to a bar and watch the game (home or away) or those that have parties to watch the games, go to krogers and buy food and supplies. The daily impact during presason camp of people coming down to practice then they get something to eat, or go shopping somewhere after or before from out of town. Theres more impact than you think if you really start plotting it out.

November 19, 20178 yr Honestly the St. Louis area is the area that scares me as an area the Bengals could move too. That area imo will get another team one day if they come to terms of building a stadium. I think the Chargers and Bengals would be two of the possibilities to end up there. Based on how things are currently league wide, it’s possible. If any current teams went to St. Louis, I believe it would be the Bengals.

Not so much the cost of the stadium that was the issue, its the contract that didnt allow the city/county to use it for things without Bengals approval, so they could bring in more events and revenue.
