No doubt about. The guy loves the game and loves working with the young men. If you call the guy in Feb. to watch some basketball, 9 times out of 10 he will be studying game film. He is non stop 24-7 365 passion for coaching the sport.

Their coaching is 2nd to none. I love Coach Brown, and he gets the guys thinking they are the underdog in every game.

This is a year of stats that jump off the page for the Colonels. I think this one tops them all. Six the the Colonels 7 TD drives were 32 seconds or less and all 7 totaled 2:30 of clock time.

The Colonels don’t have amazing speed and they are not humongous on the line, but they ran almost everything to the left of center and could do just about anything they wanted.

 

“They were more quick than fast,” Kuehn pointed out. “They were quick in everything they did. They got the ball to the quarterback quickly and he made quick decisions. That put us out of position.

 

“On offense they just overpowered us,” the coach added. “They reset the line of scrimmage four- or five-yards off the ball. They had all the space they wanted. Their quickness just doesn’t give a team a chance to react.”

The coach pretty much summed it up. Very well executed offensive system football with a great quarterback at the helm who can make and execute quick decisions.
