Lloyd (8-3) handled Green County, 43-6 in the 1st round, while Monroe County (8-3) eased past Newport, 36-6. The Falcons will make the nearly four hour trip to NKY for this 2nd Round match-up.

Lloyd just beat Green County 43-6. Monroe County beat Green County 22-20 a couple weeks ago. I am thinking Lloyd by a couple TD's at least.

No, typically it’s the Walton, Owen, Carrol district. However, the geniuses at the KHSAA thought cross bracketing would be better.

I’ve watched both teams firsthand. I’m not saying Lloyd doesn’t win this one. I’m saying they won’t blow them out. Monroe has decent size and they get after it. Mink is tough to bring down. Lloyd will have too many athletes and win this by 10-14.

I still don't seeing it that close and there is no way they hold Lloyd to 14. They let Green County score 20. Just my opinion and we will see Friday.
