It's constant slashing and in the second one they do this weird thing where Michael is controlled by the ghosts of his dead mother and his younger self. Just awful movies.

Horrible acting, predictable plot twists, and a lot of horny teenagers.

I just went and watched it. Seems to be the sequel will pick up from the first Halloween not a continuation of all of the sequels. Basically an alternate universe. Considering Jamie Lee Curtis is in the movie I'm assuming it is set many years in the future. Should be interesting.
October 31, 20178 yr Pretty solid. I think of it like the Alien franchise: first two are classics of the genre... but then it goes off the rails fast.

I actually think 4 is a little underrated. It's got a decent storyline and Jamie killing her step mom at the end of the movie was completely unexpected. I also like H20. It's not a cinematic masterpiece by any means but it's pretty good. I'm also partial to II over I because it was the first movie I watched that showed female nudity in it and I was hooked. I think I was like 10. Haha
