I think Casey can make Corbin break a sweat, but I don't see anyone in that District or Region who will hang within 4 TD's of Corbin

Corbin by 3-4 TD's. I love Casey County and coach Stonebreaker but I just don't see anyway they can pull this one out. Good luck Rebels!

Gets real for the Rebels this Friday. Would love to see Casey win this one but it would take a perfect game for them and a total meltdown for Corbin

Running clock at half.

When does Corbin actually play a game, semi finals?

I think Corbin will be way to much for Casey and Knox will be a warm up game for the semi finals.

Has anyone seen both teams play? If so, please chime in. I'm curious to see if Casey County is even capable of keeping up with Corbin.

You wouldn't actually have an updated 3-A Tourney Bracket of this mess showing who should play who with the usual suspects instead of for example District 6-Region 2 etc. instead of 3rd place District 6-Region 2 travels to Louisville to take on for example maybe Central would you? It's my understanding Corbin's coach actually traveled to the Cabell Midlands game to watch in person! Any new info on the schedule? Should be some good games! I just don't have a clue on who should play who where!

Thanks in advance,

Casey's incredibly soft schedule ends Friday.....Corbin rolls.

To date....Casey's opponents have a combined record of 17-48!

Bell County is the only opponent thus far with a winning record. (5-3)

That just goes to show how easy Corbin gets it and easy walk to semis while others have to actually play good teams.

A good JV team could win that region.

I have not seen a full game of Casey's.. just highlights they have posted and others have posted after playing them.

Casey has a nice team. IMHO, this will be the first of two meetings as I think they win two playoff games.

Casey has good size, are very well coached, and has some nice players.

The Pendleton kid is a ball player on each side of the football. He is a natural slot WR and has great hands and runs crisp routes. Reminds me of the kid Garrard County had a few years ago, McCoy I think. Very smart player and is an excellent pass defender.

Tucker is a hard runner and an absolute load. He looks like he is about 6'2 230. Moves well for his size. He is only a Junior I think. Can see him getting some FCS looks.

The QB Campbell does a nice job. He has good height and throws an accurate ball. Not necessarily a cannon, his passes have some loft to them, but he makes very good decisions and runs the Offense very well.

Casey has a nice team and one that IMHO is a legitimate Top 10 team in the State. The only problem is I don't see them having an advantage over Corbin in any capacity. They may have a size advantage at the LOS and might be able to grind some clock if they keep pounding Tucker, but in order to beat Corbin you have to expose their weaknesses and Casey just doesn't seem to match up well there.

Corbin is vulnerable to three things:

- Speed and high level athleticism in the Second Level

- Their line is good but not great and may be vulnerable to penetration

- Corbin has three or four guys who can catch the ball and hurt you on crossing routes and timing stuff, but lack that guy who can go up and take the ball out of the air or beat his man and a Safety on a deep route.

Corbin 35-7.
