I really like this Somerset squad. But, they're a good team stuck in a brutal district. I just don't think they can match LCA, score for score.

I'm the only one giving them any credit.

Somerset didn't get going in the first half against Danville. The Ads may have coasted a little in the second half and let the score get closer than the game was. I think LCA is going to score a lot and in a hurry. It will be harder to come out in the second half and compete if your down by 35 to 40. Somerset has to find a way to keep it close in the first half.

The formula is simple when you face an offense like LCA's.

 

1. Your offense has to control the time of possession and keep their offense off the field.

 

2. Your defense has to prevent big plays, make LCA grind out drives and find a way to get stops. Third down plays are huge. Get stops and get the LCA offense off the field.
