All In Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Will be interesting to hear brooksville's analysis from the game when he gets in
Option Right Posted September 30, 2017 Author Posted September 30, 2017 Barber ran for 211 yards and three touchdowns.... Greyhounds defense was on point tonight!
All In Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Surprised but not surprised. Same here until i hear what BC's offensive game plan was and if Paris did indeed stuff BC's rushing attack or BC's plan was to throw more from the outset. I had read on here that Paris' defense weakness was the run, so need to know more, but impressive win for the Greyhounds nonetheless and now Bracken County has to do what they can never seem to do in any sport since Coach Hammonds stall ball victory in basketball way back when and that is beat Bishop Brossart in something next week at home

All In Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I really thought there would be a lot more posts about this game from those that attended, stats wise, comment wise, etc. This game did happen, right?
All In Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Maybe it will be the same score. You may very well be right Mr. Papa
Sinbad 74 Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Great to see Paris playing great football again.
WESTSIDE Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 It is great to see the Hounds get the win. Hopefully, the Hounds are racing their way to the district title.
TheMailman Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I will eat my crow, I thought Fischer would run wild and Bracken County's front would be to much for Paris. #5 from Paris put on a show and Paris' defense was solid.
All In Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Barber ran for 211 yards and three touchdowns.... Greyhounds defense was on point tonight! Looking at BC's stats, they weren't far off from their rushing average per game. Tad had a very good statistical game and the passing stats were good as well. Where did this score come from, was it just no red zone scoring for BC,turnovers? Paris defense didn't, what I call completely, shut them down. Again looking for analysis from those that were there, but not getting any

Fasttalker Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Bracken County was averaging 284 yds rushing & 130 yds passing coming into game with Paris, but only gained 166 yds rushing & 51 yds passing. Take away Bracken's score late in 1st Half with 21 seconds to go, set up I believe by 55 yds Fisher run, it sounds like Paris effectively shut Bracken County down. I was surprised by how effective Paris offensive & defensive line play was. In addition, Paris had 311 yds rushing which was 127 yds more than their average. Jonah Atwood kicked 3 kickoffs into the Endzone, no returns. Bracken has a good team but I think the Hounds were more focused.
Oldercoach Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Kicking ball into endzone is a huge advantage in high school. Starting with long field creates a strong defensive tone.
