Let's just put it like this when you have your banner on the opposing teams 35 yard line what do you really expect to happen? Each team is aloud there side of the 50. When the other team comes on your side during pre game and entrance that is being disrespectful. If you want your team to run thru the banner keep it on your side.

Last time I checked the fields 52 yds wide. No way Rock couldn't have avoided it if they wanted to. Not buying.

I've watched a lot of high school football in my old age and that was one of the most classless things I've witnessed. I shutter to think what would have happened if one of those cheerleaders had been hurt for such disrespect. They had just huddled in prayer in the end zone prior to that and just made my heart swell and then to do something like that. You stoked a fire Rock that won't soon go out.

Wayne county didn't want us to have a pre game entrance with spirit line they wanted the entire field for their entrances. Do the visiting team not get to run out thru a spirit line with a banner they work on? Come on if they didn't want something like this to happen then they should have kept their pre game entrances to their side

Of 50. We were intimataded and that's what Wayne county though by running out at the opposing team. Especially on their side!

Only thing I will say, you will not see Wayne Co team do something like that because they know what the outcome would be facing Coach Thompson.

In 30 years of watching football I have never seen another team bring there banner on the opposing team side right in front of there players either so it works both ways

The rock got physically beat tonight. First and goal and you got stopped. Rock is always a tough game. They do play physical. But your statement that rock was more physical is not reality. Just because you say it over and over doesn't make it true.

 

You are not making excuses but then you make excuses of sickness, officiating and we have players playing both ways. Wayne had sick players too. But Wayne starts 22 different guys. Three starting offensive players came in on certain situations and package on defense.

Yes each team should have a half field a piece to warm up on, I agree. But I see now reason why they can't have a tunnel as long as they want. I wouldn't consider that disrespectful, merely a physic job. Trying to intimidate the other team with their crowd. Wayne done the same thing against JC 2 years ago at home in the semi state game with player introductions. I kinda liked it as I'm sure do the players.

 

All I'm saying is, if Rockcastle couldn't avoid running through a banner with the field 52 yds wide, then that alone explains the goose egg IMO.
