Due to running clock and taking out the starters against a sub par team will hurt your calculation in the Lit rankings. Yes, no Trinity in the #1 spot makes it hard to swallow these rankings....

Think about it, Trinity would easily put a running clock on LCA, Danville, DeSales, and Boyle.

 

Not only is Trinity better than these teams, the Rocks would beat them all by 50 or more.

I guess the Rocks will simply have to do better. Back in 1977, Mayfield came out first ahead of Trinity and the head coach, Dave Moore, was wondering out loud during typing class how to get a game with the Cardinals.

 

I don't know about 77 but in the 90's all a coach would have to do is call up Mayfield and pretend you were Beechwood wanting a game, the Cards would work you in on Tuesday.

Guru, I wouldn't doubt Trinity's Power.... they should beat much much smaller schools. Trinity has 1400 - 1500, DeSales 300, that's over a 1000 more boys to pick from. Heck Tinity may have 300 - 400 more boys than Male. Nobody but St.X should have a chance to beat IMO....not even Cov Cath.

That statement every year is just stupid. Of course they are better as the season goes on, anyone can pick the winner after the season is over. In week 10, we all know who is a good team and who is a bad team.
