DeSales 28 Butler 27

Featured Replies

There is some competitive football being played in Louisville.

Best regular season football game I've seen in years. Butler was the much better team early, and led 14-6 at the half. It was a battle throughout in the second half, and the game came down to an untimed down at the 37 yard line and just as Butler's QB was getting ready to loft it for the end zone, he was hit from behind for an incomplete pass. Butler's QB is REALLY good. They have a big, strong RB and three receivers that made acrobatic catches all night. They appear to be well-coached also. I am very curious to see how they do in the coming weeks.

Well said DeSales Dad, i was little surprised that they didn't run #34 more in the first half. We have faced 2 really good QBs in our first 2 games, teams with some tall receivers also. I really like our front 7 on defense. #87 is looking little like Pertle on the 2013 team. How is Joe Davis ?

Was there an ejection Friday night ?

If so - what happened ??

Punch was thrown by a DeSales player in the bottom of a pile late 1st half.

Sorry to hear that.

Very very untypical.

I am sure the Coaching Staff was less than pleased.

No place for it though.

thanks for the info.
