Ludlow 27 Bracken County 24

Featured Replies

It was a pretty good crowd. Ludlow brought a lot.

I was at the Bracken playoff game last season and was impressed with the home crowd. Even though it is a relatively new sport in Brooksville, it looked like the fans were focused and knowledgeable (even though they lost). Glad to see big numbers for regular season games, too!

Is this a big win for Ludlow or did people jump the gun on Bracken? I know Bracken had good year last year.
I knew Bracken would be in trouble facing Ludlow, won in the last minute last year; and most Bracken fans knew that. I think Ludlow is the best team Bracken will play all year.

I just wish they would have seating on both sides of the field. Always like sitting where there is the least amount of people so can focus on the game.

No offense to my friends to the immediate west in Brooksville. I have many of them. And no offense to Ludlow, either.

But this, ultimately, could keep the Polar Bears from stepping up another level. You HAVE to schedule a game here and there that will present your team with major challenges. If Ludlow - and again, no offense at all to Ludlow - is your toughest competition; you are NOT getting playoff-ready

Has there ever been any discussion of a Bracken/Mason football game?

Not that I'm aware of, but I'm not as close to the program as I once was.

The steps need to be small for Bracken County. They have come a long way in the past four years. Scheduling up a little would be good but in small steps. Keep winning and keep the momentum building.

Ludlow may be the best team they play all year, but think Pendleton,Brossart,Paris and Nicholas now all pose challenges after the loss to Ludlow.

I thought the returning offensive pieces and additions could logically produce an undefeated regular season and predicted so, so was not only disappointed by the loss to Ludlow, but thought that offense had the potential to put a running clock on a team like Switzerland County. I got Pendleton County's run defense winning Friday in a potential mud bowl at Brooksville.
