Dalton isn't even a top 20 reason why they haven't won... Heck, he's one of many reasons they've even made the playoffs recently.... he's not "the reason" and I believe you know that... We all know that... it's wishful thinking to say, "change QB 's and we'll win in the playoffs ".... It's not that easy... we didn't come close to winning with Palmer either and he finally won some playoff games last year with his third team... You're kidding right? If you've watched those playoff games Dalton played in he is #1 reason period. Make all the excuses for him you want to but he never ever even had the lead in any of those games nor was he even close to leading the team back in any of them. 1TD and 6 INTs is pathetic. I said nothing about getting to the playoffs. I talked about how he played IN THE PLAYOFFS. Shoot AJ even got the Bengals to the Playoffs in his first starts for the Bengals. Remember it was AJ that clinched the playoff berth 2 years ago. So I'm not talking about getting them there. Im talking about how he played in them.

The problem is he won't. He can't even win a single playoff game. So saying he'd win a SB would be like saying I'd win the Boston Marathon.

Guess last playoff loss was on McCarron because he played poorly for most the game... his fault Hill fumbled and our defense imploded If anyone watched the last playoff game they'd see that the coaching handcuffed AJ the first 3 qtrs just like they did in the last game of the season. They had him hand the ball off most of the time or throw short dump passes. They actually didn't let him open up until they were down 19 and look what he did once they turned him lose. MacCaron did what Dalton never could do in any of his 4 playoff games and that was come from behind and take the lead and out the team in position to win the game.

Remember, Anderson and Esiason didn't win a Super Bowl either... heck, they weren't even very successful getting to or performing well in the playoffs... they each had 1 magical season where all the stars aligned and they made it to a SB.... It's not because they're bad QB's... it's because it's hard to do, it takes an entire team effort and lets face it.... it takes some luck... I still believe if Krumrie doesn't get hurt, they win that Super Bowl... that was purely bad luck....

August 20, 20179 yr McCarron showing why he's the back up... unexplainable intentional grounding and a poor interception deep in our own territory... You realize McCarron was throwing to a guy who won't make the team and hit him in the hands. If that same pass was to AJ Green it's probably a catch. We have seen countless times Green just snatching the ball out of the air to save poor throws by Dalton that may have been picked thrown to any other receiver. We all seen Dalton doesn't look anywhere close to good usually when he doesn't have people like Green or Eifert to throw to. That pass by McCarron was a half yard to far, but probably is caught by Green. So hard to make that comparison in saying that's why he is the backup. When if Dalton makes that same pass he has Green going for it making it look better when he snags it.
