Charlottesville car crash suspect from NKY

I had this kid in scouts. I am not going to discuss matters publicly, but if law enforcement would like to contact me, I am providing permission for my information to be released.

Hopefully, this will call attention to mental illness that is relatively untreated. Boone County Special Ed is going to have a busy week. Prayers to all involved.

This is nothing outside of what we're used to seeing. When it's a black/brown person committing these acts (riots, driving into crowds of people) they are terrorists and an entire religion of people should be held responsible, but when it's a white guy they are mentally ill. Reason eleventy billion this isn't getting better any time soon.

@TheDeuce, I don't think this is a fair assessment of what was said in this particular case. Apparently P.P has some personal knowledge about this man who committed this heinous act of terrorism. His personal knowledge of the person apparently leads him to conclude that he had some mental issues and perhaps those issues also include a mental handicap for which he was placed in the Special Education tract in school.

The only person who mentioned mental illness as a possible contributing factor was P.P and that was due to his personal experience with this criminal. It was not a generalized statement about white perpetrators in distinction to black/brown perpetrators.

BTW, I quoted P.P to document where the statement came from originally not to get P.P to address this further. He probably shouldn't say more about it.

And I agree with others, his possible mental illness/handicap does not take away from his actions. When you foster hatred, such as white supremacists, you are playing with fire.

Agree to disagree.

The article I read this morning said he'd been diagnosed for some time with schizophrenia and had meds for it.

Why must we always say it's mental illness? It's hate period. People hate. This jack wagon was full of hate. He is a terrorist and should fry. I hope he gets the death penalty.

Anyone that promotes violence or any group hat promotes violence is nothing more than a scum sucking terrorist.

So sad...

So not BGP right now.
