No, I would not include Campbell on this list. For some reason Campbell just never did it for me like the other so called country greats. I don't hate his music, but if I never heard another one of his songs, I wouldn't miss it like I would Willie, Waylon, Cash, George and Merle.

His wife said that even in the later stages of his terrible illness that he would still sing. She said that it was just "gibberish" but she could tell it was a happy song that made him happy.

Waylon not only cracks it open, he blows it away. He opened up the doors for every country act to sing what they wanted. Hank Jr said he's the most influential person ever in Nashville and it's not close.

On a musical note, I just like his music better than all. Just my opinion.
