July 23, 20179 yr Even though some have seen showers/storms this morning the possibility of strong to severe storms to fire back up exists for later today. Portions of Kentucky are in a Slight Risk Area while the remainder of the state is in a Marginal Risk Area. These storms will be mainly multicell storms but a few supercell storms are possible. Isolated damaging winds and hail will be the primary threats. For now it looks like the storms will start to fire up around the 4 pm EDT time period.
July 23, 20179 yr Maysville got blasted. Worst night I have experienced in a long time. A lot of flooding downtown in houses and businesses.
July 23, 20179 yr We've been up since about 3 this morning. Levi is a hot mess when it storms. He's napping now. My house is spotless, a pot of homemade dog food is simmering on the stove, the laundry is done and all my lunch and dinner prep for the next week is done. I suppose I can take a nap till the next round moves in later. :lol2:
July 23, 20179 yr It was bad here in Bracken Co. especially in Augusta. Heavy rain, at least 5 or 6 inches. Wind , lightning and hail. Lot of basements flooded. Please nWo no more of what we got last night. Radar had storms lined up one after another coming into Bracken County. Just when we thought we were in the clear another one would hit. It was like that for about 8 or 10 hours.
July 24, 20179 yr Dang. Hope folks in River East of Cincy are doing OK. We got poured on today in Bardstown about 9:30am+. I had to walk to work in it and get soaked since I blew out my car tire going up my driveway, and my "raincoat" doesn't keep me dry. But that's small potatoes.
