July 22, 20179 yr No one listed Stallworth yet? He was better than Swan. I say do your top 10 like the Bengals just did - no active players included. Who is your top ten with no active players?
July 22, 20179 yr 1. Mean Joe Green 2. Big Ben 3. Bradshaw 4. Mel Blount 5. Hines Ward 6. Bettis 7. Woodson 8. Greg Lloyd 9. Mike Webster 10. Troy Polamalu No Franco? I thought you were a Steelers fan. Franco is definitely the best Steeler RB ever.
July 22, 20179 yr I am only listing players that played the majority of their career as a Steeler and/or are clearly recognized as a Steeler. Steelers Hall of Famers: Jerome Bettis Mel Blount Terry Bradshaw Jack Butler Dermonti Dawson Joe Greene Jack Ham Franco Harris Jack Lambert John Stallworth Ernie Stautner Lynn Swann Mike Webster Ron Woodson
July 22, 20179 yr No Franco? I thought you were a Steelers fan. Franco is definitely the best Steeler RB ever. I like Bettis better.
July 22, 20179 yr I like Bettis better. That list would be Footballforever's Favorite 10 Steelers, not Steelers Top 10 All Time.
July 22, 20179 yr That list would be Footballforever's Favorite 10 Steelers, not Steelers Top 10 All Time. Jerome Bettis vs Franco Harris - Pittsburgh Sporting News
July 22, 20179 yr Jerome Bettis vs Franco Harris - Pittsburgh Sporting News The fumbling is a good argument for Bettis fans to make. Harris had more rushing yards, more TD's and also was a threat to catch the ball with over 300 career receptions for about 2,300 yards.
July 22, 20179 yr The fumbling is a good argument for Bettis fans to make. Harris had more rushing yards, more TD's and also was a threat to catch the ball with over 300 career receptions for about 2,300 yards. Harris would run out of bounds alot Bettis would never do that.
July 22, 20179 yr Hate to make such a big deal about a single play, but the immaculate reception is the single defining play for a franchise. Franco's numbers are outstanding but that play makes a significant mark on a decade of greatness
July 23, 20179 yr Harris would run out of bounds alot Bettis would never do that. And there have been fighters who stood in the ring getting punched to a pulp. It didn't make them better than the punching fighter who wins.
July 23, 20179 yr Harris had four rings. MVP in one Super Bowl. I think scored in three of the Super Bowls. Made six AFC title games. Rushed for more yards. Is this really a debate?
July 26, 20179 yr In no particular order Joe Green Jack Lambert Jack Hamm Mel Blount Donnie Shell Troy Palamalu Terry Bradshaw Ben Rothlesberger Franco Harris Jon Stallworth Mike Webster
