I really REALLY like this logo. I can't recall having ever seen it anywhere before. Is it completely original to Mason County?

Looks like you're correct...it's an alternate for the New York-New Jersey Hitmen.

Interestingly enough...it looks like Murray's new logo borrows heavily from the New York-New Jersey Hitmen.

Julie Brown of Spectrum Graphics created this and yes, the Hitmen logo inspired the ragin' royal(my wife, Stephanie, gave it a name). We started using that logo in 2002. I really liked it because we could put it on all our stuff and it was recognized as Mason County football.... like an NFL logo. You didn't need any text... you knew that was us!

I think it's a great logo, Coach. Kind of reminds me of the old Comet Colonel logo that Cov Cath had for years and years.
