There is some (fake) news sources running a story about a secret third meeting but no facts yet..

Thought it was known by most folks..Photos,and info is available if one cares to look for it..

Sessions recused himself against Trumps wishes. That has to suggest there is more there. Sure as JD said earlier it was the right thing to do, but we are talking about a man who took the post with an extremely checkered past involving race.

He didn't waver considering those issues that had a lot of merit behind them, yet he steps aside for a couple of handshakes?!

If ever there was a "much ado about nothing" investigation this entire Russian fiacso cooked up by democrats to slow any work Trump tries to get done is a premier example . I keep hearing the Russians tried to influence the election but have yet to read how they pulled this off and just who was influenced. Hillary was a gosh awful candidate , the voters in America were tired of her arrogance and her baggage and said enough . But the left keeps screaming " it was Russia" . And we thought Ross Perot was paranoid .

Whole entire thing is driven by hate , and thats sad on any side of the isle.

Sessions is in bit of a quagmire with his semi-recusal and firing of Comey. His answers today went in a circle since he wasn't willing to divulge what the president told him to do. Not to mention the "innuendo" that there was something more to Sessions recusal than the two meetings with Kislyak according to Comey. The Senators seemed to be aware of something that fired up AG Sessions :lol2:.

He will be back to the Hill at some point.

Today's hearing was a side show of a side show of a side show.

This hearing was a farce.

The Dem Senators embarrassed themselves. There is a long standing confidentiality between a POTUS and his cabinet members. Ask Obama, he did the same with his cabinet members.

Why don't we really focus on the problem, the Russians may have hacked into various systems. Let's figure out how that was done. That is the issue. Hearings like today's are nothing more than the Dems attempt to keep this POTUS from getting anything done.

What is the Left going to do when Muller comes back with Trump did nothing wrong. Will the Left turn on him and talk about what a scab he is? They hated Comey until he was fired......

Excellent observation!

I don't know.

I think we need to see what Mueller comes up with before we attempt to march anyone back up to the Hill.

And although I didn't watch it all today, the little I watched looked good for Sessions and bad for any Russian Conspiracy Theories.

One of the Rep. Senators said today that they expected to call Sessions, but later in the investigation. Sounds like they have some more people to talk to.

What confidentiality is that? Got any examples?

Susan Rice and Eric Holder routinely refused to answer questions about their conversations with President Obama.

Here's the problem, either side doesn't like it when the other side does the same thing they did in the past. Washington is broken, period.

Obama did use executive privilege with Holder, but I'm struggling to find other examples.

If Trump is invoking executive privilege...ok. That goes along with another set of problems, but ok. He didn't though, so...

As Sessions said, he can't invoke the President's executive privilege but has to to protect his right to do so.
