The steal of home , like a wild pitch / passed ball or a delayed or ?

How do you steal home in softball without something screwy happening?

 

Think it would have to be a passed ball or wild pitch or delayed.

 

Still, if I am the catcher and I catch the pitch ... I am just standing at the plate since the runner is barred from just trying to barrel over me and the runner is not supposed to leave her feet.

Just read the Herald-Leader story on it. Delayed steal (not straight up) and pitcher overthrew ball to catcher (so error if throw had been in time).

 

Not quite a straight up going straight home with a clean play at the plate like a suicide would have been.
