I can't believe no one posted anything about Scott County losing its first game in Kentucky this year and not going to State to defend its title.

Must be false news , Scott Co was a lock to win the title .

What region are they ( who beat them ? )

Region 11. Woodford won 1-0.

#1 versus #2 in the state in that game last night. A shame both teams haven't been able to go to state the past 3-4 years.

Who throws for Woodford and is she signed/verballed anywhere yet ? Other college players on their team . They must be extremely good .

The girl who pitched last night is signed with UK. They have a couple of other D1 players and a couple verbals.

Here is what is posted on the KY HS softball website

Kyla Simpson Woodford Co University of Pikeville

Bethany Todd Woodford Co University of Kentucky

Caitlin Karo Woodford Co University of Tennessee – Martin

Ariel Daily Woodford Co Louisiana Tech University

Peyton Rose (2018) Woodford Co Morehead State University

Paige Hampton (2018) Woodford Co Asbury University

Region 11. Woodford won 1-0.

Third time was a charm for the Lady Yellow Jackets.

Thanks SB dad -- impressive collection of talent .

What position does Simpson play ?

Pretty sure she is an outfielder.

I guess the winner of the Woodford - Madisonville NH game in the winners semi's wins the trophy .

I guess the winner of the Woodford - Madisonville NH game in the winners semi's wins the trophy .

They don't meet in the Semi's, they will meet in the Quarter's on Friday Morning.

Woodford and Madisonville will not meet in the semi's but in the quarter's on Friday morning.
