Third year in a row these two teams will meet in the Finals, and we stand at one ring a piece. Both teams dominating in the playoffs, neither team has really been challenged all that much.

So, simple question... Is this the most anticipated NBA Finals matchup ever? I say yes.

We've literally waited on this series since July, 4. I think it would be tough to find a season where the matchup was determined so far in advance.

Can't wait. Who's playing?!

Have no idea whos playing, so no.

If you don't know who's playing, then you don't watch sports, so...

Interested in hearing which Finals you think was more anticipated.

There's the easiest answer possible... :lol2: What year?

Okay. Why/how do you think it was more anticipated than this year?

Considering we all have known this was coming for a year, I'd say yes.

Kobe

In the 1980s, the Lakers and/or the Celtics were in the Finals ALL 10 Years. Now they only competed against each other in 84, 85, and 87.

I was a much bigger fan back at that time and I knew those teams would be in the finals all 3 of those years (and thought they should have several times more).

I guess it really depends on how much you are into it. I was more into it back then.
