Is this Middle Tennessee? If UL wants more attention from the Pollsters, and BCS, shouldn't they upgrade their non-conference schedule? UK, Temple, Kansas State, and now MTSU? Is this one of the weakest non-conference schedules for a BCS contending team? I know they played Miami, but it sure seems pretty soft.

Not any worse than Auburn, Iowa, Georgia, LSU, etc.

No sure what the score will be but, the card win big.

It's my opinion that those teams you mention might play a little more difficult conference schedule than UL. You got to admit, Having Temple, UK, and MTSU on your schedule pretty much guarantees 3 wins.

It should be noted that unlinke many other contenders, Louisville at least plays all D-IA teams.

 

As to the weakest OOC sched for a BCS contender, that's WVU without a doubt. Louisville's schedule compared to WVU including the next games to be played:

 

Miami > Maryland

@Kansas St > @Mississippi St

Kentucky > Marshall

@MTSU

@Temple

 

With 3 games on the road compared to 2. 3 BCS schools to 2, two of which are contenders for their division compared to none.

I trust the staff at UofL to know who to play and who not to play. I would like to see a harder team than this but what do I know I work at a factory.

Maybe not, but the last 2 years record for K-State is a combined 9-13.

You're right, but U of L is apparently having trouble finding tougher out of conference opponents that are willing to play them. There was an article in the Courier-Journal the week before the Miami game about it. U of L has indicated they would play pretty much anyone anywhere anytime (Why else would they agree to play Middle Tennessee State at Nashville?). U of L admittedly doesn't have the cache of the more traditional football powers, so why would any good team take the risk of playing them?
