April 10, 20179 yr For the last 8 years all we've heard is how weak Obama was. After Trump sent 59 missiles to an empty airbase in Syria we all heard about how it is good to have a president with guts, bravery, stones, blah blah blah. When Namecips said he'd prefer we leave Syria alone and fix our own issues I felt it should be stated that a mindset like that is what makes people say Obama was weak. He was hesitant to attack Syria like Trump did and even Obama himself said he regrets how he handled Syria. That mindset has people saying he is and was a weak president. It's unfortunate but that is what people believe and I was reminding us all that Obama is a weak man because he didn't attack like Trump did. We can't be weak anymore. Time to attack and hit them all where it hurts. Word up. Problem is Obama didnt fix any issues at home either. Obama wasnt affraid to act, he was afraid of the reaction to acting. I get that, foreign policy was a weak link for him. I wont say Obama didnt try to resolve this to some manner, he tried diplomatic ways, it didn't work. New president, new way.

I was trying to explain some of that stuff to folks at the bar the other night when the airstrikes hit about how many moving parts were involved in terms of who is allied with whom and who would be upset with us. I felt like a global politics expert for a time until I realized I was explaining this stuff to very drunk people who probably never pick up a newspaper. :lol2: Buzzkill.
