Investigator Reviewing Threats Made Against Higgins , Monitoring UK Fan Websites

Well crap, I'm going to have to report my phone stolen before they catch me! :lol2:

There are reports out that JD Easton's Avatar is posted on the wall and number one on the most wanted list.

LOL! Even I'm not a rabid enough of a fan to do something crazy like that.

All jokes aside, there were some questionable calls in the game but I have no idea whether he made them or one of the other refs. It doesn't really matter, it is what it is, people should leave his personal life alone. If they want to boo him or whatever if he ever ref's a UK game again (which I doubt he does) then to me that's fair game and part of the game. But attacking him and his family is just idiotic.

Oh, they don't care about anything you may have done JD. They just like having your avatar posted on the wall.

Hah, there are plenty more out there. I've been wanting to update it for a while but some are questionable enough that I need to ask Guru before I change it. As far as her being the #1 suspect though, they need to leave her alone so she can do more UK photo shoots.

There are absolutely some here that I would easily believe were part of the Higgins problem, but JD isn't one of them.

(I know you were kidding, btw)

Here is a question: I feel like I know the answer but I want to ask anyway. If someone goes on a local call in show, with no ties to Nebraska or Higgins other than to say something along the lines of, "I hope he dies a slow and painful death, blah blah blah," can anything be done from that? Or does it have to be a direct threat? I have not heard a lot of the comments, but can assume that some of them must be pretty darn bad if authorities are getting involved. I know there are nut jobs in every fan base, but I hate to say I root for the same team as some of these people. How stupid can you be, honestly?

I consider myself a huge U.K. Fan. I'm also a Cubs fan and a Bears fan. I grew up in the Chicago area. Trust me, the Kentucky fans are no worse than Cubs or Bears fans. When SNL starts doing a UK skit, we'll talk!

Nothing can be done to them unless they say "I want to kill Higgins" Then they can be charged with Terroristic Threatening.
