For those keeping track...a few 'stats' on the helmets I've posted thus far:

(7) Teams with the a single letter for their school name in their helmet logo.

(2) Teams with the the first letter of multiple words in their helmet logo.

(5) Teams with the school name and/or mascot name written out in their helmet logo.

(2) Teams with just a player number on their helmet.

(11) Teams with just a mascot graphic on their helmet.

(5) Teams with a blank helmet or a stripe down the center.

(2) Teams with the "winged" helmet design.

(3) Teams with the Clemson paw print in their helmet design.

Who had it first? Boone or Boyle?

Bryan Station's is sharp... Bourbon with bonus point for an original creation and tracing their county map.

Though not incredibly original whatsoever bonus point to Boyd County for reminding me of East Dillon from Friday Night Lights.

Boone. I THINK.

Chuck Smith was the one that brought it to Boyle when he took the job in '92. Boone had it before I believe.

I think Boone went with that old New York Giants look back in the 80s.

Boyle started wearing those right when/after Chuck Smith came. When Smith left, they went to a B on the side (Bourbon under former Boyle assistant John Hodge had the same, I think), but then went back to the REBELS after just one or two years.

BULLITT EAST CHARGERS

Their helmets back up until the mid-late 90's before they went to this were the best (not that these are a good look).

But Bullitt East used to have yellow instead of the vegas good look. With that they had white helmets with red masks. Along with that they had a red/yellow stripe (yellow middle, red on the outside) & EAST written in some cool, curisive script on the side.

That's what they wore when Danville beat them in 1994, I believe.

Yezzir they were! That red on red w the yellow numbers (outlined in white) really popped, too.

When did Boone go back to the Hauck, REBELS? Bourbon County has a nice log but the helmet picture and the logo are slightly different. The one on the actual helmet appears darker and more muddled. BG could really have a great helmet if they added the "Spirit" but if it ain't broke don't fix it, continue to be vanilla on the helmet and electric on the field.

I believe they went back to the "Rebels" logo for the 2016 season.

85 does it. Winner winner.

For the record; you can never, ever go wrong with silver pants.

In those pictures:

1984 vs. Dixie?

1985 vs. Conner?

Not sure about Dixie...but you're correct about Conner.

84 is Holmes. The Dawwwwgs.

That was my next guess. I couldn't make out what the helmet said - I was debating between Colonels and Bulldogs!
