March 24, 20179 yr As a kid I looked at Novelty songs as the Cartoons of songs :lol2: With Chuck Berry's passing and all of the talk about his only #1 song (which IMO was a "Novelty" song) My Ding-a-ling, it got me to thinking about other greats. Ray Stevens' - "The Streak" comes to mind first. C.W. McCall's - "Convoy" Steve Martin's - "King Tut" Are a few to get started, what are some of your favorite "Novelty" songs?
March 25, 20179 yr Around 1979 or so , "M" had hit with a song called "Pop Muzic." It was a bit of a novelty song.
