March 11, 20179 yr I had to watch it a few times. As did I. I think it is part of the reason hockey is so hard to watch for a lot of folks. It can be a very fast game with a hard to see puck. They way he didn't make it a slap shot confused the heck out of me and the goalie.

He let the puck float through the 5 hole. Completely fooled the goalie. I used to be a casual hockey fan, would only watch on occasion. Now I watch every time I get a chance. The more I watch, the more I learn. Absolutely love the sport!
March 13, 20179 yr That move was so smooth that I replayed it 10 times. I was watching NHL Network that night when they showed it. His teammates were saying that he was doing that in practice all week.

They used to joke that there should be a 6th man on a basketball team that sits on the goal and swats shots as they come in.

At least all the players are on the field for the FG attempt. And keep in mind, if a team kicks a fg in OT the other team still gets possession. Please don't make me have to go off on soccer. March 15, 20179 yr I played hockey for many years. Bar none, it is the fastest sport I ever played. There is a reason shifts are so short...you are basically booking it for 2 minutes, give or take, all out. One does get a little rest on defense if one is protecting the blue line otherwise you have to keep your speed up. BTW, that was a pretty bold move....
