2017 All 10th Region Team

Congrats to ALL the guys that made the all region teams and honorable mention ... they are all deserving ... I hate when these teams are announced and there is always posters saying that this kid should not have made but this kid should have ... to all the homers out there that cuts one kid down to lobby for another kid , be happy for all of them that did make it ... lets face it there are always kids left off that maybe should get on there .... that's not gonna change ... a lot of those kids get on here and read these posts and see somebody said that they didn't deserve it ... pretty hurtful to those kids that are tickled to death to be VOTED on ... just wondering if you were a parent of one of these deserving players , how would you feel about it then ... just saying , don't cut on them , be happy for them !!!!

I wish they had an all defense team or Defensive POY. Have to give it to Tanner Clos from Campbell County. Was put on the player every night. Cooper Engnes from Bracken County does a good job a well. Along with Eric Johnson from Paris.

 

I agree 100%. There needs to be more credit for playing good defense and doing the smalls things on the court. Clos has the toughest assignment night in and night out and the second half of the season started averaging double digit scoring as well.

I don't understand how Mason Burden is above Brennan Canada and Jaylen Lofton? Burden puts up numbers because of Robertson's strength of schedule and he's just about their only source of offense other than Alex Schalch. Canada and Lofton are both much better ball players than him IMO.

 

You said it, "In my opinion!" Your opinion was not the same as the coaches in the 10th region who voted. You don't have to cut down a team or school.

 

Also, Canada is a nice player I agree, however he only played in 11 games this season. His injuries may have hurt his chances with some coaches.

Spot on...people dislike a kid for what ever reason...ain't met the kid don't even know how to spell his name correctly...it's usually guys who had their girlfriend taken by a jock or someone that's only seen during a game when ref calls him to wipe up sweat off the floor..the best player in the region is Jake from Scott High...everyone else is a distant second still no knock on them..jus how good ohmer is.

Major congrats to Jared Shoemaker, Augusta. The journey he made from thousands of 10th Region fans praying he would just survive to fully recover and earn 3rd Team 10th Region is probably an unprecedentedly difficult and Blessed journey by a wonderful young man.
