6, 7, and 9, 10 could not start for Carroll. The rest could. Jones brothers yes they are smart but just to weak and only hit shots because they are open (Plus cry to their dad for help cause they get balls stlen from them). Giles is to short and fat and has a slow release of his shot but his attitude is no good either. Brown no one really cares bout Brown cause he is Brown He had one good game last year.

 

Just because you are not a fan of Coach Jones (which was well documented back in March) doesn't mean you can assail his sons. Any parent would be proud to call the Jones boys one of their own.

You also insulted arguably the two top defensive players in the district. I am sure the other coaches in the district and Class A do not consider Brown irrelevant, as you seem to suggest.

Do you have children ? You show your lack of class and intelligence by launching personal insults and attacks against other people's TEENAGE children . I'm just throwing out facts. Coach Jones is a real good coach i absoulety agree he might be the best in eighth region but that does not mean i take back what i say. Jones are not the best defenders in the region at all. They are smart yes, i know one is a freshman and the other is a junior or senior i believe. Brown had one good game last year like what 30 some points or something like that, and Giles he brings energy to the team but do not say they can start for a team when they can not. Yes, CC has out did ourselves once again :banana: but dont tell no one :sssh:

As a Carroll County fan, it is one thing to predict how things will turn out and discuss the skills and abilities of a team as a whole, but it is an entirely another thing to personally insult children. Please lets not stoop to this level. We should be supportive of our team and not destructive to another.

Don't try to back peddle on this and pretend you did not make insulting comments about a teenagers(i.e. fat, cry to daddy,etc...).

The only facts you have uncovered are your inability to refrain from personally insulting kids and your total lack of class . As i stated earlier , you obviously do not have children. If you do , i hope they get more courtesy than what you have given to someone else's children.To be personally attacked about the way they look or to be made fun of just because someone does not like their parents is totally uncalled for. I don't see how you can say Giles couldn't start on a team, that was totally dominated by a team that he did start on for most of the year. He brings things to the table that not a single Carroll County Panther brings. He is a shut down defender and brings an enormous amount of energy to any squad. That being said I realize he has some weaknesses to his game, but so do all of the players that you say would start over him. Maybe you have some valid points but for you to completely blow off the fact that he could start is ridiculous.

Actually i have a kid that is 3. I went to Mercer County than went to EKU for school. I have been a big fan of the 8th region because my younger brother played for B. East in 1999. Giles and Brown are not the best defenders in 8th region or one of the best. I also do think GC and CC is just like Duke/UNC or Bengals/Steelers. They both talk alot and get nothing accomplished, They both lost in the Class A in Richmond in the first round, to who became the Champs, Somerset & Bardstown. So please so me something and i will take back my comments. Giles is a shut down defender and energy player but just like Bobby Jackson he is a 6th man for Carroll County and Walton Verona. He could start for Owen and Eminence or even Williamstown and maybe Henry i really dont know, he is a 6th man best at Carroll. Roberts and Allen and Riley are better than he is he could be 6th man for them. Spencer, Hester, Dougherty, Wade, and Stiles or Lee are the best defenders in the region. By the way Welch is officially not playing for Carroll this year due to some other sport. Thats bad for Carroll.

Not really. Yes, Welch made energy off the bench when he came in but thats all he really did. He fouled alot, missed shots, and just ran the floor. Football needs to be more important to him. Losing to gallatin county in football is no good. Be Farve not Vick. They can make that missing piece close up real fast if they get some of the younger players to play harder and want to win. Carroll is getting no credit for the season so they will have to get better. With the Gallatin Steel tourney and than a tough Hancock Co. tourney they will need to be a good team not a ok team. They got Oldham for homecoming and that will be a good game also. Dunlap is one of the best driving guards in the region so they will have to contain him, play a pressure man2man defense like pick them up at the 3/4 court. Also Carroll needs an inside pressence. I really dont know much about them. anybody have any clues let me know. the class a will shape up like this:
