If anyone wants to add the matchups that would be great but is anyone else with me hoping Kevin Owens takes it to Goldberg? I liked Kevin Owens when I saw him on the Independent Circuit and I like him more and more all the time. Additionally (and I want this to be fun, not ruining by rumor sites) I hope Owens and Jericho are planning a way to cheat Goldberg at Fastlane. I have no idea if Jericho is taking a break or the whole breakup thing between him and Owens is just their plan of attack for Fastlane.

Owens is so gifted on the mic and he is just a great heel overall. I would prefer that he win, but I just don't see it happening. But if he and Jericho were cooking something up, that would be an awesome swerve. :lol2:

 

This match is flying under the radar, but Samoa Joe/Sami Zayn is the matchup I'm most looking forward to. I also think Roman Reigns/Braun Strowman will be good.

I mentioned this in another thread but what a shame. Goldberg does ZERO for me. I am sure he was great back in the day.

I'm wondering if he and Owens and maybe some others are headed toward a stable with Triple H leading them? He's been awfully close to both Joe & Owens. I'm not a huge fan of The Authority, but I would be interested to see where that would go.

 

I think Strowman has surprised of late. That match with Big Show was pretty solid last week on Raw. He showed some mobility that I didn't know he possessed. And I thought he & Reigns had a very physical ending to their little scrum this past Monday. I think it'll be a solid match, but I don't expect a clean ending. I think Vince is going to try & protect both guys heading into Mania.

The Authority lost its luster with me too. A stable sounds great but I can do without Triple H wrestling anymore. Even the promo he and Seth cut Monday night in the ring felt forced and confusing. At first I thought Triple H was The Authority but after the promo it felt more like two wrestlers challenging each other.

 

Additionally, Seth looked out of character and he didn't give anything meaningful about his injury so between Graves asking him about it and Triple H cutting a wrestling promo with him I am expecting Rollins back in action soon even though Seth went to length to be ambiguous about it.

 

Agree, Braun looked great against Show and Roman is very physical for his size so I expect brawl with a weird ending.

I have to go with Goldberg if its a clean match-up. What would that say about Brock Lesner if K.O. beats Goldberg? Then Lesner loses way more credibility than he has already with his last two beatdowns to Goldberg.

 

Thats why I think KO will win with a DQ finish. Perhaps, its a big set up for a Jericho/KO reunion or even a run-in by Lesner and that will set up another Wrestelmania match.

I've been thinking Jericho interferes and helps Owens but if Goldberg wins, jericho and Owens have a match at Mania and Lesnar takes title at Mania. Don't think Goldberg is there long term. Also will give cred back to Lesnar.
